That 1 Guy

Mike Silverman is better known as That 1 Guy, a one-man band from Las Vegas, Nevada.
He plays a homemade instrument, the Magic Pipe. The pipe is 7-feet-tall and constructed of plumbing pipes. Silverman began his career as a classically trained double bass player. He puts on one of the strangest (and best) live shows I’ve ever seen.
That 1 Guy recently called in to discuss the creation of the Magic Pipe, the inspiration for his oddball lyrics and how his unique sound defies categorization.
